15 minute microlight taster session at Long Marston

Experience the truly amazing sensation of flight in one of these tiny, yet incredibly robust, flying machines. If you are not sure if microlight flying is for you then this taster flight will allow you to find out.

This experience will last a total of approx. 25 minutes, with approx. 15 minutes spent in the air. (We don't compromise on your time in the air. When comparing us with others, check the small print and the time actually spent in the air.)

This taster is ideal for those who think they might be a little apprehensive of flying.
Once securely aboard the aircraft, we'll taxy out, take off and have a look at Long Marston from the air, and then it'll be time for us to line up for our landing.
Like the earliest pioneers of powered flight, you will experience for yourself the sensation of an open-cockpit flight in a small aircraft. The microlight flies at around 1000-1500 feet and travels at 45-60 mph.
All the equipment you need for your trial flight - flying suit, gloves, helmet and intercom headset - will be provided.

People with physical disabilities can also fly, depending on the nature of the disability and providing they are able - with the help of a relative or carer where necessary - to be seated comfortably and securely in the aircraft. Check with us if you're not sure.
Please note that flight times are calculated from engine start to engine stop, so they include engine warm-up, pre-takeoff checks and taxying to and from the runway.
If weather conditions are not conducive to flying, we'll simply re-book your flight.
Our trial flights take place on Saturdays and Sundays from 10.30 am till sunset

Each voucher entitles one person to participate in this experience. The voucher is transferable, which means that anyone can use it. The voucher remains valid for bookings for 12 months from the date of purchase. Please contact the operator using the details printed on your voucher to arrange a date for your event.

We recommend that you purchase your voucher and make a booking for your event at least one month prior to your chosen date. This is particularly important for weekend events.
