Imagine skimming past the clouds and watching the ground slide by, you'll find the views from our 3-axis microlight are wonderful so don't forget your camera.
On arrival you will receive a warm welcome from your instructor and have a short pre-flight briefing during which you will have the opportunity to ask any questions that you may have.
Then it's out to the aircraft for a quick walk round before being safely strapped in ready for flight. Sitting side by side with your instructor you will be given a headset so that you can listen in on pre take-off calls to the Tower.
Then it's time to take to the skies for your introductory lesson. Once airborne you may be given the chance to take the controls under the supervision of your instructor if you wish to.
Too soon it will be time to return to the airfield and line up for landing but hopefully you will have a had a flight to remember.
After the flight you will receive a personalised certificate of flight to show your friends.
Friends and family are welcome and the airfield has excellent facilities to watch the planes in the licenced club house which also serves snacks and meals.
The airport has two tarmac runways so is more likely to be usable when the weather is not so good than grass airstrips which can get waterlogged.
