90 minute trial flight along the coastline + DVD at Durham TV

90 minute trial lesson lesson in a modern trainer microlight. Chance to fly along the coastline or anywhere else that you choose. Friends and family welcome at the airfield. Includes DVD of the flight.

This experience will last a total of approx. 2 hours, with approx. 90 minutes spent in the air. (We don't compromise on your time in the air. When comparing us with others, check the small print and the time actually spent in the air.)

If you are serious about learning to fly then this is for you - a 90 minute lesson will give you an excellent insight into learning to fly.
It will give you chance to fly a modern microlight and to experience the thrill of handling the contols with the comfort of an instructor by you side.
After a warm welcome from your instructor and a short safety briefing during which you can discuss where you would like to fly, you will walk out to the apron and get into the aircraft. Like all high wing aircraft the C42 is pretty much like getting into a car.
Once safely strapped in you will be able to listen to the tower giving you clearance to taxi and then take to the skies.
Once airborne your instructor will demonstrate the controls and then you will get chance to take the controls and fly the aircraft yourself.
The flight will track the coast and head north or south offering spectacular views. If there is something in particular that you would like to fly over then please let us know and subject to any local restrictions we will do our best to do so.
Includes DVD of the flight recorded on our onboard cameras as a momento of your flight.
Friends and family can wait for you in our pilot's lounge which has great views of the runway and apron.
Free wifi and refreshments also available.
This time can be logged in your logbook and will count towards the hours needed for your Pilot's Licence (NPPL) should you wish to continue your training..

Minimum age 14.

Each voucher entitles one person to participate in this experience. The voucher is transferable, which means that anyone can use it. The voucher remains valid for bookings for 9 months from the date of purchase. Please contact the operator using the details printed on your voucher to arrange a date for your event.

We recommend that you purchase your voucher and make a booking for your event at least one month prior to your chosen date. This is particularly important for weekend events.
