YOU in the cockpit!
This experience will last a total of approx. 60 minutes, with approx. 40 minutes spent in the air. (We don't compromise on your time in the air. When comparing us with others, check the small print and the time actually spent in the air.)
The de Havilland Tiger Moth is one of the most familiar light aircraft designs in aviation history. The sense of history, magic and deep enthusiasm for this machine is only paralleled buy the likes of the Spitfire, Concorde, Hurricane and Vulcan.
There are only a small number of number of these beautiful vintage open cockpit bi-planes that remain in full operational service. A gift voucher for a trial flight in this aircraft therefore represents a rare opportunity to experience flight from a by-gone era.
Minimum age limit is 14. Height between 4'11" and 6'4". Maximum weight is 18 stone.

Arranging the date was very easy, but with the great British climate, there are no guarantees It was very easy to find the venue by car. The facilities were adequate, but the operator has not been in their new hangar very long so this is only going to get better. There is an excellent cafe a short walk away in the main building of the airfield All the staff are very approachable and accommodating. They make sure you have an experience to remember in a safe and professional way. The tiger moth and Stampe planes were beautifully presented The briefing was clear, my son and I both knew what to expect. As we were flying in formation, we knew what we could do in advance and so we were very relaxed and excited to. The whole experience was fantastic what with having a go at the controls and having a mock dogfight. My son even did a loop da loop and barrel roll. It ended all too soon. It was so good We never felt like we were in the way and they even posed for photos after the flight. I was even allowed to stay and take photos of the next flight leaving My wife organised this experience for my 60th and my son's 30th birthday, and she had no problems doing so. So well done flights4all!!
Overall rating: Excellent

Sorting the date absolutely no problems ,could not have been more helpful. Flew from Belfast to Gatwick and then by car to Shoreham Airfield. no directions given common sense prevailed ! All facilities were very good .I was made v. welcome and well looked aftert problem as instrument flying was not required. Excellent Flight safety through out.Good .As I flew aircraft piston /jet for almost forty years I was confident in the briefing given. I wanted to carry out some circuits and landings but the weather prevented that plus I was told each landing would cost an extra £12-£18 Something that should have been made clear before the booking was made . I realise that most customers would just be along for the ride, but as my flight was a trip down memory lane I wanted to get doing some handling ! AS it turned out the wx was rough and very bumpy and a strong cross wind so we went on a sight seeing tour instead which was excellent .Off course it was thrilling there is nothing like a flight in a Tiger Moth or other open cockpit Aircraft. Should I be able to afford it I would do it every day. Shoreham is too congested to allow pilot handling flights, maybe use of another landing strip nearby could be used if flight handling is requested, Yes take as many photo's as you require helped by the Staff .linger and chat as long as you like. They have a Piper Cub which could be my next experience !!!!Unable to say my Son paid for the flight , so unable to comment but from the operation it was great.
