Flight Discovery Day - Cabri G2 at Leicester

Wow! What a day. You will pilot the state of the art Cabri G2 helicopter for a whole two hours hands on! This experience also includes refreshments, lunch and ground school.

This experience will last a total of approx. 1 day. (We don't compromise on your time in the air. When comparing us with others, check the small print and the time actually spent in the air.)

When you arrive for your Flight Discovery Day you will have an introductory pre-flight brief with your personal flight instructor.
After the briefing you will take to the air in a Cabri G2 helicopter for your first flying lesson of the day - an air experience you will never forget.
After this flight you will return to the airfield for debrief, and depending your progress your instructor will brief the next flight exercise.
After your second flight you will have learnt how to hold an "attitude", fly straight and level and even have had a go at hovering the helicopter, which is one of the most challenging and fun parts of learning to fly helicopters!
By now you will be ready for lunch and this is a great opportunity to chat to your instructor about the morning's flying and ask any questions you might have about the training syllabus before you take to the skies once again for your final flight of the day.
At the end of your discovery day you will have a good understanding of what is involved in gaining your Helicopter Private Pilots Licence, and furthermore you can count the hours flown towards your PPL(H) should you wish to continue onto taking up of the most exciting hobbies (or careers!) one could ever dream of.

Maximum weight 18 stone.
Maximum height 6'6".
Please note the programme for the day may be altered by your instructor to suit the weather conditions and operational capacity on the day, and the flights may be taken as two longer flights instead of three shorter ones.

Each voucher entitles one person to participate in this experience. The voucher is transferable, which means that anyone can use it. The voucher remains valid for bookings for 12 months from the date of purchase. Please contact the operator using the details printed on your voucher to arrange a date for your event.

We recommend that you purchase your voucher and make a booking for your event at least one month prior to your chosen date. This is particularly important for weekend events.
