90 minute flight experience - 4 seater at Glasgow

In this 90 minute trial lesson you will get plenty of chance to take the controls of the aircraft and do some early exercises for the PPL before handing back to your instructor for the landing. One friend/relative may accompany you.

This experience will last a total of approx. 120 minutes, with approx. 60 minutes spent in the air. (We don't compromise on your time in the air. When comparing us with others, check the small print and the time actually spent in the air.)

After a warm welcome from your instructor and a short preflight briefing and walk around the aircraft you will be strapped in to your seat and await clearance to taxi from the tower (ATC). You can listen in to the big boys on your headset while you are waiting!
During the preflight briefing you will get chance to discuss where you would like to fly, perhaps where you used to live or favourite holiday spot.
Whichever direction you decide to go you will enjoy some stunning scenery before rejoining the circuit for your landing back at the airport.
During this 90 minute flight you will have plenty of time to take the controls. After an introduction to the basic elements of flying and effect of controls of the aircraft you will go through some of the early exercises of the PPL syllabus including straight and level flight; altitude control and learning to climb.
At the end of your lesson your instructor will take back the controls for the landing back at Glasgow airport.
On your return to the airfield you will get chance to discuss your flight with your instructor over a cup of tea/coffee.
We have our own facilities at Glasgow Airport with free parking. Refreshments available (tea, coffee, biscuits)and friends and family will be able to watch from our viewing area.
