Dragon Rapide flight over Cambridge for 2 at Duxford

Take a pleasure flight in the Dragon Rapide, one of the best loved pre-war aircraft. These are 2 of the very few left flying and are completely restored to comply with modern regulations - the last word in civilised sightseeing!

Your experience starts with a pre-flight briefing for your trip to Cambridge. Taking off from Duxford, the Dragon Rapide flies north at 1500 feet giving you the finest possible views over the local countryside then the ancient city of Cambridge will appear beneath the bi-plane's silver wings; see the breathtaking spires, the pinnacles of King's College Chapel, the courtyards of Trinity and St. John's, and the River Cam as it flows through the gardens and water meadows of the University.

Special Conditions

Flights are available from March to October.
Weight limit is 20 stone.
Clothing - Wear loose fitting comfortable clothing.
Spectators are welcome but must enter the Imperial War museum in order to watch the flight.

Each voucher entitles up to 2 people to participate in this experience. The voucher is transferable, which means that anyone can use it. The voucher remains valid for bookings for 12 months from the date of purchase. Please contact the operator using the details printed on your voucher to arrange a date for your event.

We recommend that you purchase your voucher and make a booking for your event at least one month prior to your chosen date. This is particularly important for weekend events.
