40 minute helicopter lesson (R44) at Manston

After a short preflight briefing you will take to the skies. You will get chance to take the contols and try flying the aircraft for yourself. If you are up for it you can try the ultimate challenge - hovering. One person may accompany you.

This experience will last a total of approx. 70 minutes, with approx. 40 minutes spent in the air. (We don't compromise on your time in the air. When comparing us with others, check the small print and the time actually spent in the air.)

On arrival you will be greeted by your instructor who will put you at your ease over a cup of tea or coffee.
After a short preflight briefing which will cover the controls and how they work you will take to the skies for the flight of a lifetime.
Once airborne you will also get chance to experience the exhilaration of actually taking control of the helicopter.
You will also have opportunity to attempt the ultimate challenge of hovering!
All too soon it will be time to hand back control for the landing.
Don't forget your logbook - this time can be logged against your licence if you choose to continue with your training.
After the flight you will have the opportunity to ask any questions that were not answered during the flight and will be presented with a certificate as a momento of the day.
A friend or relative with an interest in aviation may accompany you during the flight.
Other friends and family can enjoy a close up view of you taking off and landing. During your flight they can relax in the lounge area whilst observing all the activities of the airfield.

Maximum weight 21 stone.
Minimum age 13 y.o.
Available 7 days a week.

Each voucher entitles up to 2 people to participate in this experience. The voucher is transferable, which means that anyone can use it. The voucher remains valid for bookings for 6 months from the date of purchase. Please contact the operator using the details printed on your voucher to arrange a date for your event.

We recommend that you purchase your voucher and make a booking for your event at least one month prior to your chosen date. This is particularly important for weekend events.
