Brands Hatch Tour - 20 minutes at Rochester

This tour will take you over the spectaclar Rochester Castle and Cathedral and the famous Chatham Dockyard before giving you a superb birds eye view of Brands Hatch.Don't forget your camera.

This experience will last a total of approx. 30 minutes, with approx. 20 minutes spent in the air. (We don't compromise on your time in the air. When comparing us with others, check the small print and the time actually spent in the air.)

Giving you a birds eye view of the racing circuit, the flight will take you over Rochester Castle and Cathedral en route to Brands Hatch.
On 16 April 1950, the opening meeting was scheduled for the first purpose-built post-war racing circuit in England - Brands Hatch. In January 1960 Kent County Council gave planning permission for the extension of Brands Hatch - an extension which would double the length of the track to 2.65miles (this was shortened to the current 2.433 miles in 1976). For the first time there was a choice of two circuits including a shorter one of 1.198miles.
Rochester Cathedral is England's second oldest, having been founded in AD604. The Crypt is the oldest part of the Cathedral dating from the 1080s. A thousand years before that time the Romans were building the very first bridge across the Medway at Rochester.
The North Transept was built. In 1240 and the South Transept, originally used as a Lady Chapel, was built a few decades later.
On the way back you will fly over the Historic Dockyard at Chatham.

Special Conditions

The flight will be in a shared aircraft - you will form part of a group of up to 4 participants.
Although we will always endeavour to fly you on the route that you would prefer, we may need to follow the route decided by the pilot on the day.
Flights are generally on the first weekend of the month.
