Double Landaway flight experience - 2 seater at Glasgow

Over two hours flight time and landings at 2 local airfields where you will discuss your progress with your instructor before your ongoing flights. Plenty of chance to take the controls of the aircraft and enjoy the scenery as well.

This experience will last a total of approx. 3 hours, with approx. 130 minutes spent in the air. (We don't compromise on your time in the air. When comparing us with others, check the small print and the time actually spent in the air.)

After a warm welcome from your instructor and a short preflight briefing and walk around the aircraft you will be strapped in to your seat and await clearance to taxi from the tower (ATC). You can listen in to the big boys on your headset while you are waiting!
During the preflight briefing you will get chance to discuss your first flight which will be to either Cumbernauld or Prestwick. Whichever direction you fly you will enjoy some stunning scenery.
After an introduction to the basic elements of flying and effect of controls of the aircraft you will go through some of the early exercises of the PPL syllabus including straight and level flight; altitude control and learning to climb.
Experience includes 3 flights ( 2 x 50 minutes and 1 x 30 minutes), visiting 2 local airfields - Cumbernauld and Prestwick and returning to Glasgow.
Each stop will give you a chance to talk over the previous flight with your instructor and for him to answer any questions that you may have. You will have plenty of time to put your newly learned skills into practice.
At the end of your lesson your instructor will take back the controls for the landing back at Glasgow airport.
On your return to the airfield you will get chance to discuss your flight and future lessons with your instructor over a cup of tea/coffee.
Don't forget your log book as this time can count towards your Private pilot's Licence.
We have our own facilities at Glasgow Airport with free parking. Refreshments available (tea;coffee;biscuits)and friends and family will be able to watch from our viewing area.

Larger or heavier participants may require to upgrade to larger aircraft - nominal fee will apply.
Suitable for total beginners or those wishing to add hours and landings to their training.

Each voucher entitles one person to participate in this experience. The voucher is transferable, which means that anyone can use it. The voucher remains valid for bookings for 9 months from the date of purchase. Please contact the operator using the details printed on your voucher to arrange a date for your event.

We recommend that you purchase your voucher and make a booking for your event at least one month prior to your chosen date. This is particularly important for weekend events.
