This experience will last a total of approx. 60 minutes, with approx. 45 minutes spent in the air. (We don't compromise on your time in the air. When comparing us with others, check the small print and the time actually spent in the air.)
Taking off from Duxford, the Dragon Rapide flies north at 1500 feet giving you the finest possible views over the local countryside.
First the ancient city of Cambridge will appear beneath the bi-plane's silver wings; see the breathtaking spires, the pinnacles of King's College Chapel, the courtyards of Trinity and St. John's, and the River Cam as it flows through the gardens and water meadows of the University.
Then you will fly on to the mighty Romanesque Cathedral at Ely and the famous racetrack at Newmarket, home of the Sport of Kings
Flights are available from March to October on most Wednesdays and every weekend.
Weight limit is 20 stone.
Clothing - Wear loose fitting comfortable clothing.
Spectators are welcome but must enter the Imperial War museum in order to watch the flight.
Each voucher entitles
one person
to participate in this experience. The voucher is
transferable, which means that anyone can use it.
The voucher remains valid for bookings for 12 months from the date of purchase.
Please contact the operator using the details printed on your voucher to arrange a date for
your event.
We recommend that you purchase your voucher and make a booking for your event at least one month prior to your chosen date. This is particularly important for weekend events.
